It was a thrilling match between two strong teams, with both sides delivering impressive performances. Five Ways started brightly, opening the scoring when Joshua Alabi broke a tackle at the halfway line and finished with a brilliant try in the corner. However, Bablake responded swiftly, scoring three tries in 15 minutes to take a 3-1 lead into halftime.
The second half saw Five Ways come out firing, with two quick tries, including a standout effort from Krishay Mandhanya, who dazzled with fancy footwork, beating three defenders before diving over the line. Unfortunately, Bablake regained the lead immediately. Five Ways fought back to level the score at 4-4, but Bablake edged ahead once more in the final five minutes.
Despite spirits being low, captain fantastic Emmanuel Shennowo refused to give up. In a moment of sheer determination, he charged through the heart of the defense, breaking three or four tackles before powering over the line to score in the final minute of the game, securing a dramatic 25-25 draw.
Emmanuel Shennowo's leadership and heroic last-minute try earned him the well-deserved title of Player of the Match.
