Match Report
King Edward VI Five Ways School Boys-U13B vs  Old Swinford Hospital
On: Thursday, 12 May 2022
Venue: Away

It was a brilliant double win for Five Ways over OSH. I am not sure about the A-Team but the B-Team was stronger all round, with obvious improvement in the fielding from last week.
The KEFW B-Team won the toss and chose to bowl first. With a strong performance from our opening bowlers putting us in a good position with not many runs conceded.
A good partnership was put on by OSH before Harry got the breakthrough we needed and a direct hit. We finished the innings only conceding 76 runs.
We went into bat with Sammarth and Ollie opening. They played smartly and got the quick singles as we needed less than 4 per over . Ollie got out and then we collapsed and didn’t form another strong partnership with Abhinav, Harry and Sammarth all getting out in quick succession.
Our quick singles and running between the wickets was our strength in batting today. We won the game with 1 over remaining
Man of the match: Sammarth- a very strong all-round player today
A special mention to Abihnav for his exceptional bowling delivering both paceand line and length.
